What are your qualifications? Kevin is a Chartered Surveyor and is a member of the RICS - Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and the ABE - The Association of Building Engineers (MBEng) Martin is a Chartered Surveyor and is a member of the RICS - Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) & the CIOB - Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). He also has a First Class Honours Degree in Building Surveying. 3. Are you insured? Yes. We carry Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance as required by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. 4. What cost are included in your quotations? Our quotation will include for us to carry out the measured survey, feasibility study and prepare the plans and specifications for Planning and Building Regulations and complete all the relevant Planning and Building Regulations Applications. Cost of Ordnance Survey site plan. and one site visit to carry out the measured survey. 5. What costs are excluded from your quotation? • Local Authority fees for Planning and Building Regulations fees (Full Plan Application fee and First Inspection fee) Details of these fees are available from your Local Authority Website or Office. • Fees for Consultants if required e.g.. Structural Engineer, Sound Insulation Engineers, Party Wall Surveyor, Asbestos Surveyor etc. • Fees charged by Utility Companies e.g.. Local Water Board for Public Sewer searches, on site investigations and build over agreements. • Additional plans if required e.g.. for submission for Public Sewer Build Over Application. • Major amendments to drawings and specifications before and during construction. • Any Appeals to Local Authority Decisions or resubmission's. • Additional site visits prior to and after Local Authority Decisions. 6.Do you offer any other Surveying services? No. Sorry we do not offer any other services at present.
